Junior and Senior Researcher in a research company: main focus on vehicle dynamics simulation of road/rail vehicles and ropeways.
Development engineer/project leader at a tier 1 supplier: development of a vacuum insulated cryogenic LNG fuel tank for heavy duty trucks.
Development engineer and project leader in an engineering company: focus on MBS modelling and simulation of heavy duty trucks regarding vehicle dynamics, ride & comfort and fatigue assessment. Further projects included the MBS modelling of realtime applications (brake and steering systems), modelling/simulation of a truck gearbox regarding oscillation and friction behaviour and the development of a vehicle dynamics controller for a hybrid long truck arrangement with electrical driven trailers. Development of a rail-guided summer toboggan run (design, simulation and fatigue assessment using CAD, MBS and FEM).
MBS simulation engineer at a truck & bus OEM: Design support regarding strength/fatigue, oscillation behaviour and ride and handling for light, medium and heavy truck applications. The main work focus was on the development of a new truck generation for both ICE and BEV applications. This included the design and optimization of HV battery mount systems, mount systems for electric motors and engines as well as mount systems for auxiliary components. Another focus was the load and strength assessment of the ladder frame and its components (casted parts, crossmembers, screws). Additional projects included suspension development for heavy duty trucks and the development/optimization of simulation tools for steering, brake and all-wheel drive systems.
